Woodside Ranch Resort & Conference Center

My husband and I came up to the Ranch for a relaxing weekend with the all inclusive package (homesteader). From the minute we arrived, the staff was amazing! Every single person that works here was friendly, kind, and accommodating and will be the reason we come back. Many trail rides are offered throughout the day and we did as many as we could. I loved that we could chose our own horse for each ride. When we weren't riding, we hung out with the goats and other animals on site and utilized the kayaks on the lake. All prepared meals were excellent (thanks Crystal ) When daily planned activities were over, we had a great time hanging out in the trading post (bar and game room) where we played bags and met some great new friends. If you want a rustic ranch experience, this is the place to go. *Recommended age range in my opinion is 10 and up*

My grandson and I spend 3 days here recently, excellent and friendly staff, there was always a little something to do. You can do some boating, fishing, ping pong, play pool, shoot some hoops, take a little swim. The cabin was fresh and clean. Just remember to bring some bug spray!

Went for daughter's birthday to do the trail ride. Trail guides were great and was a very nice ride for beginners. Got to choose your horse and got brief lesson to make you feel at ease for a beginner. Quite affordable for first time rider.

One of my favorite places to take my guests for a visit and trail ride. My happy place! The animals and staff treat you like family. Also if you swing into the gift shop and buy some buffalo meat you won’t be disappointed! The best burgers and tenderloins around.

We had an incredible weekend at the Woodside Ranch! My mom and her family have been coming up for years (since they were kids) and they carried on the tradition with us kids through our teenage years. We haven’t been up for about 15 years and decided to resume the tradition September 2025…we are so glad we did! Such an amazing place with a fabulous crew! We came after Labor Day so there was not a lot of guests, but we had the best time!! There is a variety of cabins to choose from, and they have varying amenities (call to confirm so you can plan accordingly). We stayed in the Idlewild and it was perfect for our group…plenty of beds, 2 bathrooms, and a sitting area with mini fridge and microwave. We went to the animal feeding frenzy at 10:30 am and it was awesome! Seeing the farm and all the animals was our favorite! Anita is wonderful and got us out on the 11am trail ride which we loved! The trail horses are all so great and the staff really helps everyone to feel comfortable based on your experience level with horses. Our ranch hand for the ride shared so much great information along the way! After our ride the trading post/bar was open, so we decided to get lunch and cocktails. Chris, the bar manager, was the highlight of our trip! He was so kind and accommodating to all of us throughout the weekend. He made us food, wonderful cocktails, and visited with us as we popped in to eat/drink/listen to music and learn more about the ranch. We did the afternoon wagon ride with Garet and that was a really cool experience! It’s $20pp and you can bring drinks if you’d like. Garet was so informative along the way and shared lots of fun facts about the beautiful draft horses and the animals at the ranch. If you are thinking of checking this place out…do it!! Highly recommend! It’s a gorgeous place to get away, relax, enjoy nature and the ranch! The staff really added so much to our experience- thanks to Anita and the trail crew, Garet, and our favorite Chris we cannot wait until our next trip to Woodside Ranch!!

Was there for a horseback riding. Due to some issues we were not able to book the tour upfront, however, they still accepted us and gave us a tour on beautiful horses. Guys were really nice and friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable of what they are doing. Really glad me and my friends got a chance to visit this place. We booked the next day again, because we liked it a lot! Definitely visiting again!

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Woodside and it was fantastic! We did 3 Trail Rides and spent a lot of time at the Trading Post with Chris and he was the best bartender I have ever met. In addition the Wranglers at the Ranch were amazing in ensuring we have a fun and safe ride. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE STAFF (CHRIS, ANITA, JACKSON, ZADE and HAILEY). The horses were so sweet and the other farm animals had so much personality.
